"Behold, I stand at the door and
knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door,
I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he
with Me."

Free Bible
Software
Below are links to free Bible software. Some are
small but quick for searching, while others are large but incorporate
in depth study tools. Still others are multimedia based with audio
files, maps, etc.
It is the hope of GodRules77 that these pieces
of software will help readers gain a better appreciation of our
Father's Word. Ultimately, He is the one who guides us to an understanding
of His will for our life, but at the same time, we must seek Him,
"For everyone who asks, receives; and he who seeks, finds;
and to him who knocks, it shall be opened" (Luke 11:10 NASB).

The Free Bible is a well
put together KJV version with a Strongs Lexicon, Matthew
Henry's Concise Commentary, and too many helps to mention
here. ~Excellent~
|
|
The Theophilos program
is more multimedia oriented (maps, pictures, etc.) but
does not have quite as many helps as the FreeBible. Still
very good.

This
free software program is a wonderful topical study Bible.
There are many thousands of topics to choose from. The program
is a valuable study tool for Bible students of any level,
from beginner on up. Individual studies of Bible characters
may be done easily by following the topical incidents in
their lives. The incidents making up the history of a nation
or a main theme can be quickly accessed from the topic lists,
as can principles and moral precepts! |

e-Sword
is a fast and effective way to study the Bible. e-Sword
is feature rich and user friendly with more capabilities
than you would expect in a free software package. The fact
that e-Sword is free is just one of the blessings and does
not speak of the quality of the software. |
